“Supporting the skating community” is not just a tag-line for Myskatingmall.com. Every decision we make is based on that guiding principle. That is why we started the beta team to guide the policies and features of the site. About 30 people have volunteered to voice their opinions during the creation of Myskatingmall.com.
An effort has been made to get representatives from every segment of the skating community. The segments we have represented on the beta forum are individuals from: small towns, training centers, recreational and elite skaters, freestlye, dance, syncro, showcase, adult skaters, coaches, families with several skaters, a couple skating businesses, and USFS representatives from Membership and Parents committees as well as the USFS Vice Presidents representing the general interests of clubs. (Sorry for the run-on sentence:-) We even have a few international members participating in the forum!
We’ve gone through all this extra effort so that every group in our skating community will be helped by Myskatingmall.com. (I also know that I’m not smart enough to figure everything out on my own!) For now, most of our discussion is on policies of the site. Later on, they’ll try out the site before it goes live. If you are interested in joining the beta team, shoot me an email at Ryan@myskatingmall.com.

Hi Ryan,
Boy, this sounds stickey! When jessica was part of a Synchro team, they had fundraising activities that were run by the team members. I think that all of the money went directly to the team. I also know that her team members each had to be members of the local USFSA club. Perhaps Stefano Stangalini (one of the coaches of the laFuria team) could shed some light on this.
